William Weigle

William E. "Bill" Weigle, age 91, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Born February 3, 1923 in Akron, he was the son of Everett and Gertie Weigle. He served in the Army-Air Corp during WWII based in England. He worked for and ultimately became a Vice-President for Firestone Bank/Banc One from which he retired.
He always enjoyed the fellowship of both the Norton and Wooster Churches of Christ, as well as the friendship of the gatherings at the Music Barn.
Survivors include his son Donald; grand-daughters Tommi and Joni; great grandson Jordan; and nieces Pam, Cindy, Sherry, Suzie, and Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne, son John, grandson Nicholas, brother and sister in law Don and Ruth, niece Joyce, and second wife Cheryl.
Private Services will be held for the family and burial will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307-2463.
