Wilma Ernestine Schweikert

April 11, 1917 — August 6, 2010

Wilma Ernestine ``Teen' Schweikert nee Harbert passed from this earthly life and into the hands of our Lord on Friday, August 6, at the age of 93, at Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls with family at her bedside.

Born April 11, 1917, in Sardis, West Virginia, she was the third of six children born to Arwin Fay and Volena Pearl Harbert. On February 28, 1942, she married her one, true love, Paul E. Schweikert, and they enjoyed 61 years together in Cuyahoga Falls before he passed away in 2003.

Mom's life was full of love for her family and friends, and she had a compassionate spirit for anyone in need. She was a member of St. John/St. Paul Lutheran Church of Akron and sang in the choir with Dad, who most certainly is holding her close once more in the sweetest of reunions. We miss you both and although time moves on, your memory will stay in our hearts forever.

Missing her and remembering her with much love are her children and their spouses, William and Linda Schweikert, Sue and Dave Harman; her grandchildren, Richard and Shana Schweikert, Kerry and Daniel Russo; and her great-grandchildren, Rianna, Nathan and Thomas Schweikert, and William and Anthony Russo. She also leaves to mourn her passing her sisters and brother-in-law, Bernice Noe of Pennsylvania, and Barbara and Dick Anderson of Clarksburg, West Virginia; as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved.

The family is grateful to the staff at Mulberry Gardens who loved Mom and made her feel she was truly at home, and to the hospice staff at Harbor Light for treating her with gentleness, dignity and compassion in her final hours.

O God our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come;

Our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home.
