Zachary Henry Kokomoor, 24, born January 23, 1985, died as a result of an accident on August 4, 2009 in Chicago, Ill.
Zachary enjoyed and created art, films and music. He loved reading, cooking and being with animals. He will be remembered with love for his brilliant smile, infectious laugh, giant bear hugs and big heart.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin Kokomoor, M.D., Mabel Kokomoor and Ned Gould, M.D.; he is survived by his parents, Frank and Pam Kokomoor; sister, Sarah Jane; grandmother, Martha Ann Gould; and his extended family.
A memorial service celebrating Zack's life will take place 5 p.m. TUESDAY at The Bath Church, U.C.C., 3980 W. Bath Rd. Friends may call at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., MONDAY 4 to 7 p.m. Should anyone be interested in donating in Zack's memory, he volunteered regularly at an animal rescue organization, PAWS Chicago, 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614-4922 www.pawschicago.org .
