Joan L. Warner , age 95, of Fairlawn, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024 at The Inn at Coalridge.
She was born in Rittman, Ohio on August 27, 1928 to parents Russell Von Rodenberg and Celia Holm Von Rodenberg. She was employed by the Injector Company, then Conval for over 30 years, working in their payroll department.
Joan loved music, fine restaurants and her Collies “Taffy” and “Tuffy.” She was a wonderful storyteller and regaled us with many stories of the colorful people she met in her life. Joan took great pride in her role as an aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt and loved the title of “Aunt Joan”. She gave great advice to her nieces, especially about the men they were dating.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; as well as her sister, Jean Beheydt; her late husband, Paul Jennings and her late husband Robert Warner; and her nephew, Jeff Cleckner.
She is survived by her niece, Christine Demlow (David Allin); her nephew, Jim Cleckner (Scott Zody); her step-daughter, Judith Coleman, step-daughter, Paula Strong, great nephews Matt Cleckner (Melissa Cleckner) and Jake Cleckner; and great nieces Nikki Wathey, Tracy Snide (Bo Snide), Alicia Hardesty (Justin Hardesty) Sara Casto (Dean Casto), and Gina Demlow (Ray Smetana); her great-great nephews, Will Casto and Cole Hardesty; and her great-great nieces Emma Snide, Camryn Casto, Abby Snide, Haley Hardesty and Ruby Smetana.
